Airbus A380

Airbus A380 je najväčšie osobné dopravné lietadlo na svete. Lietadlo disponuje dvoma palubami a podľa verzie dokáže prepraviť od 555 do 853 pasažierov. Pre jeho pohon sa využívajú 4 prúdové motory. Tento moderný stroj prvýkrát vzlietol 27. apríla 2005 v Toulouse, Francúzsko.

Rozvoj [úprava]

Airbus Industries začal projektovať veľké lietadla v 90 tych rokoch. Výrobca sa snažil nájsť konkurenciu pre Boeing 747. V júni 1994 sa spoločnosť rozhodla začať s inžinierskym developerskym projektom Airbusu A3XX. V decembri 2000 sa riadiaca rada Airbusu rozhodla investovať do nového projektu, ktorý už mal konkrétne označenie A380 8.8 miliardy EUR. Airbus dostal 55 objednávok od 6 leteckých spoločností. Celková cena rozvoja lietadla presiahla 11 miliárd EUR.
